This is one of the biggest dancehall songs of all time and the tune that is said to have changed reggae music forever. It was the first track that ushered in the “digital” age of reggae and this riddim was actually built off a Casio keyboard demo song. What?! Seriously. It blew the hell up when it was first released and had people fiending for more… well it came in the form of about 300 tunes released on Sleng Teng riddims or knockoffs. And this riddim was hot again just last year. Wayne Smith‘s original is still one of the best though.
